Happy Wedding Wednesday everyone! Sorry for my little hiatus, I’ve been taking some much needed me time. While I was away I went to one of my favorite places, which has actually inspired this weeks post. This week I wanted to focus on Martha’s Vineyard weddings. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Martha’s Vineyard, it is a beautiful island located off of Massachusetts and it is the PERFECT site for a summer wedding. There truly is something for everyone on this island- beaches, cliffs, beautiful wildlife, farms, forests, you name it they have it. Whatever backdrop you hope to have on your special day is available to you here.

Some of you may be wondering how to get your guests or maybe even some of your vendors to the island, not to worry. You can get to the island via ferry or airplane and there are many great vendors located on the island (however if you’re more interested in using a vendor located on the mainland they can easily come over on the freight ferry). Personally, I would prefer to use vendors on the island because the majority of them are talented craftsmen and artisans who handmake all their work, which means that they truly do go the extra mile to make your event unlike any other.
